Our client, based in Bristol, is currently recruiting for a Lead Damp and Mould Surveyor on a one-year fixed-term contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with a salary of £53,509.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting Damp and Mould Surveys across social housing properties, liaising with tenants about prevention and remediation, and coordinating with contractors for damp and mould works.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Responding effectively to damp and mould issues to ensure swift resolutions.
2. Managing complex cases, including legal disrepair and HHSRS category 1 hazards.
3. Producing detailed technical reports and coordinating with contractors for specialist works.
4. Leading and supporting a team of surveyors through training and quality assurance.
5. Conducting post-inspections to verify specifications are met.
6. Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors for effective delivery of works.
Experience required:
* Experience in social housing.
* Experience working directly with housing customers.
Skills, knowledge, and expertise:
* Up-to-date knowledge of damp and mould legislation.
