Job Title: Lead Practice Nurse
Location: Middleton, Leeds
Salary: Up to £52,500 per annum
Start date: ASAP
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Practice Nurse to join our team in Middleton, Leeds. In this role, you will lead a nursing team and ensure that our practice provides an optimum service of nursing care relevant to our patient population. You will work to agreed protocols and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the nursing team.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
* Develop and implement nursing protocols.
* Provide clinical leadership and support to the team.
* Manage and coordinate patient care.
What We Need from You:
* A degree in Nursing.
* Proven leadership experience.
* Independent prescribing qualification (or working towards this).
* Qualification in at least two areas of long-term conditions, one of which must be Diabetes. Other areas include COPD and Respiratory Care, and Cardiovascular Disease (or working towards).
* Training in sexual health and cervical cytology.
* Expertise in wound care management.
* Ability to administer immunisations for both adults and children.
