We're looking for a Technical Architect Workplace Platforms to join Computacenter's growing Workplace Practice, delivering innovative Microsoft-based solutions to some of the UK's largest public and defence sector organisations.As a senior member of the team, you'll play a key role in shaping workplace transformation strategies, supporting major customer programmes, and driving technical excellence across both pre-sales and delivery engagements.What you'll doLead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale workplace solutionsAct as a technical authority, providing governance and assurance across in-flight projectsSupport customer strategy and opportunity discussions, presenting solutions from both a technical and business perspectiveOwn the creation of technical solutions, pre-sales responses, and associated cost modelsIdentify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycleSupport the remediation of complex bids and delivery engagements where challenges ariseProvide leadership and guidance to consultants and project teams throughout deliveryEnsure projects are delivered consistently using Agile and Prince2 methodologiesBuild trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to enhance customer outcomes through additional services and solutionsContribute to the ongoing development of Workplace Practice capabilities and offeringsWhat you'll needSignificant experience designing and delivering Modern Workplace solutions within enterprise environmentsStrong experience leading solution design, technical governance, and costing activitiesExcellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skillsExperience presenting solutions to both technical and business audiencesKnowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAFExperience working within public sector, defence, or highly regulated environmentsYou'll have strong experience across several of the following technologies: Microsoft IntuneWindows 11Microsoft Entra IDActive DirectoryMicrosoft Defender SuiteMicrosoft XDRPrivileged Identity Management (PIM)Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)Additional experience in any of the following would be highly beneficial:Azure and Windows ServerAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365Citrix Workspace and VMware HorizonMicrosoft 365 (Exchange and SharePoint)JamF and Apple Device ManagementWorkspace ONEBeyondTrust, CyberArk, or Trellix security solutionsAt Computacenter, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes, collaborate with industry-leading experts, and help shape the future of workplace technology for some of the UK's most complex organisations.If you're looking for a role where you can combine technical leadership, customer engagement, and cutting-edge workplace technologies, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
