Role
An essential position within the core marketing team, you'll play a key role in assisting with the delivery of marketing campaigns for shows, tours, clubs, events, and promotional services at our Manchester venues; O2 Apollo Manchester, O2 Ritz Manchester, O2 Victoria Warehouse Manchester as well as our Liverpool venue, O2 Academy Liverpool.
Our Team
The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Northwest Regional Marketing Manager, National Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing as well as contributing to a dynamic team to ensure high quality output and service, where collaboration and teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.
About You
Some demonstrable experience in a marketing role in music, media, culture, or entertainment
Proven track record in delivering successful marketing campaigns and promotional services would be advantageous
Excellent knowledge of regional marketing and local Liverpool/Manchester music live music scenes
Experience managing budgets and marketing spend would be advantageous
An understanding of ticketing
Knowledge of paid social media advertising.
Experience in social media content capture.
Demonstrated success in growing and engaging social media audiences
Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with attention to tone, grammar, and clarity.
Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) are a plus.
Outstanding attention to detail of administrative tasks and sharp reporting
A strong network of local connections and established marketing relationships
Knowledge of print, digital, social media platforms
Understanding of analytic metrics and advertising KPIs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills

What You'll Be Doing
Assist the Northwest Regional Marketing Manager, National Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to devise and deliver effective marketing campaigns for all shows, tours, clubs, and events
Assist with coordinating and booking marketing activity across all relevant channels, including print, social and out of home in a timely manner and from conception to completion
Support the Northwest Regional Marketing Manager in the preparation marketing plans that provide valuable and actionable insight
Assist in delivering on specific day-to-day promotional activities
Assist in collaborating with promoter marketing teams to plan and oversee their marketing spend
Maintain strong local marketing contacts
Constantly evaluate sales performances to bring new initiatives and sales tactics to the Northwest Regional Marketing Manager
Build in-depth knowledge of your region
Form and maintain a robust network of local distribution for promotional material
Assist in monitoring and maximising all internal and external marketing budgets
Work closely with the Northwest Regional Marketing Manager to Identify additional opportunities to reach new audiences and increase ticket sales
Work closely with all Regional Marketing Managers for cross-promotional opportunities
Liaise with a variety of head office functions including marketing, digital, social and PR for inspiring content and messaging alignment
Support the Northwest Regional Marketing Manager on broader campaign strategies as required
Contribute to best-practice operations and processes
