Montessori Nursery Manager
Zero2Five are proud to be working with a private Montessori Day Nursery based in Maldon, Essex who are looking to employ an experienced Montessori Nursery Manager. This is a vital leadership position supporting the effective day-to-day running of the nursery and a great opportunity to progress within your career with excellent training provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
* To ensure systems are in place for accurate reporting and monitoring.
* Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS, DFE and Ofsted
* Ensure classroom displays are purposeful and well-maintained, and that regular health and safety checks are carried out.
* Build strong relationships with all parents off the setting
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.
* To adhere to occupancy and financial budgets and targets
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Essential Criteria
* Over 2 years of management experience
* Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
* Excellent ICT and communication skills
* Paediatric First Aid certification and a commitment to maintain it
* A current and clean DBS certificate
* A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding policies.
