To support customer demand, we are currently seeking two HGV Class 1 Drivers at our Hams Hall depot.
Shift Available: HGV Class 1 Driver: 4 on 4 off days (Start times between 01:00 - 06:00)
Rate of pay: £15.90 per hour, plus a weekly shift allowance of £40.00.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported
* Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle
* Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)
* Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot
What are we looking for?
* Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC
* Previous Class 1 driving experience
* Someone who can lift up to 18kg
* You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
