Safeguarding and Attendance Officer

Wellington Lions Primary Academy

Salary: Grade H, £31,537 - £33,699 (DOE) FTE

Actual Salary: £14,296-£15,276 (DOE) pro rata

Contract: Permanent, Part Time (19.5 hours) and Term Time only (39 weeks)

(2.5 days per week – days to be agreed)

Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed Safeguarding and Partnership Officer to join us. The successful candidate will lead and manage attendance, safeguarding, and welfare, ensuring robust systems that keep children safe, support families, and ensure full compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and all statutory duties.

In line with KCSIE 2025 and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. References will be obtained before interview at shortlisting stage and may be used in the interview process.
