An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join the Oncology and Haematology Service within the North Wales Cancer treatment Centre
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a band 6 Nurse Practitioner to join our team, to assess and monitor patients for SACT and deliver prompt quality care. The role will include rotation into the triage assessment unit, as well as an opportunity to work within the acute oncology team. The post is predominantly Monday to Friday but there will be an expectation to cover weekends on a rotational basis.
We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is keen to learn and take on new clinical skills. Previous experience is essential and we require good assessment skills and clinical decision making. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and professional person to delivery high standards of care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
