Energetic Materials – Technician 12 months £26.84ph umbrella (Inside IR35). An Energetics Materials Technician is required to support a broad range of activities within the BAE Systems Land UK business. The selected candidate will support new technology development projects for future energetic materials and support product and process development in small, medium and high volume environments. Working as part of the Engineering and Technology teams, the role will ensure that our products meet exacting quality and performance requirements. Typical duties include This role involves assisting with the Engineering and Technology Teams at BAE Systems Land UK in the small scale manufacture and testing of energetic materials. The candidate will assist Energetic Material/Process subject matter experts in providing energetic material advice and support. This includes co-operating and following all reasonable instruction, information and training reporting work-related hazards or incidents and using all equipment for the purpose intended. Knowledge: A recognised science qualification, to minimum A-Level/HND/HNC, preferably with a knowledge of chemistry. Skills Ability to work within a close team and to stringent safety processes.
