We have an excellent opportunity for a Development and Delivery Support Officer to join our Highways Development team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full-time, permanent basis.
As Development and Delivery Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support for the Engineering, Design and Delivery team, assisting with the planning and delivery of new highways and streets across the Borough. You\'ll support the delivery of the capital programme, manage legal documentation for highway agreements, and ensure timely responses to resident enquiries through our CRM systems.
This role requires proficiency in coordinating purchase orders, invoices, and legal records, maintaining databases including Exacom and the GVOL SharePoint site, and raising provisional and final certificates for Minor Works Agreements and S38/278 Agreements when directed by Engineers.
You\'ll also maintain the CIL register, chase payments for works delivered on behalf of parishes, and coordinate the production of information for FAQs, guidance, policies, and standards for the Council\'s website to assist external party submissions for technical approval.

Key Responsibilities
* Obtaining quotes, raising orders, putting works out to tender on pro contract, responding to residents on CRM and updating the website
* Bad Debt Recovery – Liaise with legal/finance to ensure that the debt to Highways was minimised.
* Raising provisional/final certificates for Minor Works Agreements and S38/278 Agreements when directed by Engineers
* Updating Exacom with updates on adoption station and S106 legal obligations
* Maintaining CIL register and chasing down payment for works delivered on behalf of the parish or co-funded with the parish. Keeping records of all works and income generated
* Co-ordinate the production of information for Frequently Asked Questions, Guidance, Policies and Standards for the Council’s website, to assist external party submissions for technical approval
* To raise requests for information and services, keeping a record of fees, setting up purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in office and/or finance
* Proficient user of MS Office software including Word & Excel.
* Utilise information and communications technology to access and communicate information
* Ability to co-ordinate purchase orders, invoices and legal records
