Electrical Design Engineer
Bristol location (hybrid working)
£35,000 - £43,000 plus 7.5% bonus and benefits
Monday to Friday - 1pm finish on Fridays
A number of Electrical Design Engineer is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who are at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of design solutions within a multi discipline engineering team.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of up to £43,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Overview of the Electrical Design Engineer role:
Meet the Engineering Specification targets and ensure conformance to the relevant international, national and industry design safety standards.
Verify that the designs conform to the relevant design standards by calculation and/or testing as appropriate.
Select and introduce suitable components to satisfy international legislation and customer expectations.
Key skills and qualifications required for the role:
Possess a good electrically biased Engineering Degree or other relevant engineering qualification with post-qualification years industry experience.
Have experience in 2D CAD skills (AutoCAD Electrical, and/or other drafting tools), whilst any 3D CAD skills would also be highly advantageous.
Previous experience in basic Electrical fault finding alongside experience in a product design/development capacity.
