Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by handling materials, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Perform materials handling tasks including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
Order picking and packing products ready for despatch.
Execute picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are accounted for.
Maintain an organised warehouse environment by keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential
Familiarity with materials handling equipment, including forklifts, is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
Willingness to learn new systems and processes related to warehouse operations.
