Support Worker - White Lion Road We currently have opportunities for a full time (37.5 hours per week) & part time (22.5 hours per week) Support Worker to join our supported living service, White Lion Road, in Little Chalfont, Amersham. White Lion Road provides supported housing for six people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Each resident has their own self-contained flat with 24-hour support on site. One of the flats is used as an office for staff to support White Lion Road residents and provide a communal meeting place with a dining table and cooking facilities. The aim is to provide personalised one to one support to people living in their own homes to help them meet their full potential. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and with dignity. As part of the role, you will: Assess needs and develop personalised support plans Promote independencethrough life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans Induct and assist in the mentoring of new staff Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goalsYou’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and compassion.
