The Role
As a Assistant Management Accountant, you will assist in posting month-end journals and submitting monthly pension reports and benefit schemes.
Key Responsibilities of this Assistant Management Accountant
* Generate monthly managerial financial statements according to the established reporting schedule for various business divisions.
* Produce annual budgets and forecasts.
* Support budget holders with analysis and review of the accounts.
* Create reconciliations for the balance sheet.
* Manage records of fixed assets.
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns
* Produce monthly journal postings to the general ledger
Requirements for this Assistant Management Accountant
* At least 1 years' experience within Financial/Commerical or Management Accounts
* Chartered, Finance qualification or qualified by experience will all be considered
* Strong excel and finance systems knowledge / experience
* The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* The ability to interact with financial and non financial managers at different levels
