The Role:
Our client is seeking a Works Planner to provide essential cover during a period of staff absence. This is a key support role focused on scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring tenants receive excellent service and that workforce resources are used effectively.
You'll play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of day-to-day services, helping the team plan work over a span of days and weeks.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repair work across housing stock
* Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximise productivity
* Provide clear and timely updates to tenants regarding appointments and works
* Monitor job progress and reallocate resources as needed
* Maintain accurate records using in-house systems
* Liaise with operatives, supervisors, and tenants to deliver responsive customer service
The Candidate:
* Experience in work planning or scheduling within a maintenance or housing environment
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confidence using IT systems to manage workflows and bookings
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced setting
* A customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
