To succeed as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:
1. Have experience supporting children with special educational needs, including autism, communication difficulties or behavioural needs
2. Remain calm, patient and empathetic in all situations
3. Be a team player who communicates clearly and confidently
4. Show enthusiasm for developing your practice through training and hands-on experience
5. Be reliable, flexible and ready to contribute to the life of a busy, supportive school
