Job Overview
We are seeking a SEND Care Support officer to join our growing team. The successful applicant will provide high quality personal cares and administer medications across the college, working with the SENDCO to ensure appropriate processes are fully embedded and documentation is completed correctly. You will need to be confident to talk to external agencies such as schools, occupational health, physiotherapists, etc to gather essential information.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality personal cares to SEND students.
* Administer medications across the college.
* Work with the SENDCO to ensure appropriate processes and documentation.
* Communicate with external agencies to gather essential information.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with young people with SEND and care needs in an educational capacity.
* Knowledge of EHCPs.
* A Level 3 qualification in a related area or equivalent ability.
* Demonstrable experience in providing personal care and administering medication.
* Ability to work within a team, communicate effectively, and enjoy working with young people.
