Job Description
The Support Cleaner will be responsible for delivering all aspects of cleaning operations across designated locations. This includes routine and periodic cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with site-specific procedures, and supporting new team members with site familiarisation. The role involves travel and may require occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver cleaning services in line with operational schedules and specifications.
- Respond to requests from the Sector Manager and follow allocated rotas.
- Maintain site security procedures and adhere to operational policies.
- Ensure storerooms are tidy and stock is stored correctly.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables.
- Record site visits and use time and attendance systems consistently.
- Ensure full shift durations are completed without exception.
- Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all tasks.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, including working with remote teams.
- Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with internal stakeholders.
