Stockton Riverside College is a dynamic college, recently awarded Outstanding by Ofsted, delivering high standards of education and training. We offer a range of academic, vocational and higher education courses for young people, adult learners, and apprentices. As part of The Education Training Collective (Etc.), we work with a group of colleges and training providers in the Tees Valley to drive ambition and success.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Trainer to join our Construction, Professional and Service Industries team, reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering excellence across the Construction, Professional, and Service industries, supporting learners and contributing to the wider community.
As an Apprenticeship Trainer with Stockton Riverside College, you will support Apprentices up to Level 3, guiding and supporting learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout their training. You will meet regularly with the wider apprenticeship team to plan effective reviews with Apprentices and Employers, set clear targets, and provide feedback to drive timely achievement.
Responsibilities
* Support Apprentices up to Level 3 with training and coaching to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
* Collaborate with the apprenticeship team to plan and conduct effective reviews with Apprentices and Employers.
* Communicate clear targets and provide feedback to drive timely achievement.
* Engage with learners and peers to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
* Significant industry experience in the electrical sector.
* Qualified to Level 3 or higher.
* Strong communication, planning and time-management skills.
* Ability to coach, develop and mentor learners.
