 
        
        We are seeking a versatile, hands-on engineer to support our clients UK operations in driving quality excellence and process improvements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong quality-first mindset to contribute to the development and maintenance of robust quality systems.
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Main Objectives of the Role
We are looking for a quality-focused, all-rounder engineer who can:
 * Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
 * Identify and resolve product and process quality issues
 * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce operational costs
 * Collaborate across departments to strengthen quality performance
 * Opportunities for European travel and professional growth
Key Responsibilities
 * Develop and update Quality Management Systems (QMS)
 * Maintain and improve documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
 * Plan and conduct product inspections, process audits, and compliance tests
 * Ensure adherence to technical standards, customer requirements, and regulations
 * Investigate product complaints and non-conformance issues
 * Perform root-cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
 * Generate reports and recommendations for improvement based on insights
 * Work with teams in production, engineering, and supply chain
 * Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders to maintain quality standards
 * Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing across departments
Education & Experience
 * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering would be desirable
 * Equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing quality role will also be considered
 * Strong manufacturing background, ideally in a fast-paced production environment
 * Experience with ISO 9001 is essential
Skills:
 * Proficient in QMS and quality documentation
 * Skilled in statistical analysis and quality metrics tracking
 * Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities
 * High attention to detail, proactive mindset, Flexible and ability to work independently
Additional Information
 * European travel: Occasional travel required for supplier and process audits
 * Hours: Monday – Friday – flexible shift between 08:00-17:00
 * On site but occasion flexibility with hybrid options may be considered
