Robert Half are working in partnership with a fast-paced, forward thinking business in Cheltenham to recruit a Management Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Salary is between £55,000 - £60,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:
1. Producing the monthly management accounts.
2. Balance sheet review and reconciliations.
3. Annual budget planning and management.
4. Cash flow reporting and management.
5. VAT returns and regulatory returns.
6. Year-end statutory accounts preparation.
7. Working closely with senior leaderships team and business partnering with stakeholders.
8. Implement and improve processes where necessary.
Requirements
To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must possess the following experience/skills:
9. Qualified or part qualified/finalist (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
10. Must have strong management accounting experience
11. Experience within the travel or leisure industry would be desirable but not essential
12. Highly adaptable and resilient
13. Innovative; able to implement and improve processes and procedures
Salary & Benefits
14. £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
15. Hybrid working; 2-3 days in the office, rest of the week from home
16. 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
