We’re recruiting for a well-respected law firm in Manchester who are looking to bring an experienced Legal Secretary into its residential conveyancing team. Key responsibilities:
* Providing full secretarial support to fee earners within the conveyancing department
* Audio typing and preparing legal documents including contracts, letters, and completion statements
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, and solicitors by phone and email
* Managing diaries, booking appointments, and keeping case files organised and up to date
* Assisting with Land Registry forms, SDLT submissions, and other post-completion paperwork
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience as a legal secretary in a conveyancing team is essential
* Excellent typing and document formatting skills
* Strong organisational abilities and the confidence to manage a busy workload
* A helpful, team-focused attitude with great communication skills
