DESCRIPTION
We're expanding our team within Amazon Operations.
This role requires working from the office 5 days a week.
As a Configurations Specialist, you will play an integral role in Amazon Logistics, directly impacting how quickly parcels reach customers. As part of the Central Operations Team, you will support daily planning and forecasting to help our UK Delivery Stations deliver to customers.

Key job responsibilities
1. Execute network design configuration changes and coordinate with requesters.
2. Conduct adherence reviews and coordinate changes with stations.
3. Perform data reviews, audits, and update daily checklists.
4. Develop, audit, and update standard work documents.
5. Advise the UK Delivery Station network on standard operational practices.
6. Mentor new joiners.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Keep the customer at the center of every decision.
9. Ensure targets and service deadlines are met according to regulatory requirements.
A day in the life
You will proactively communicate with various departments and stakeholders, maintaining Amazon's high service levels for customers and suppliers. You will also periodically step back to view the bigger picture and research process improvements.
About the team
The Central Operations team aims to stay agile from the moment an order is placed online, providing seamless coordination behind the scenes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects involving data.
* Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level CEFR).
* Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
* Experience in transportation or logistics.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
