COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST – MEDIA

£70,000–£75,000 + bonus

We’re hiring for a media business looking to bring in an FP&A Analyst to sit at the centre of planning, forecasting, and performance reporting. This is a broad role with strong exposure across the organisation, giving you the chance to lead on core FP&A cycles while working closely with senior stakeholders.
It’s a role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail but can also step back, spot what matters, and communicate it clearly. You’ll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and month-end analysis, while supporting better decision-making across the wider business.

* Experience running budgeting and forecasting processes end to end

THE ROLE
* Lead the forecasting cycle across the business
* Run the annual budgeting process from start to finish
* Manage the long-range planning cycle and bring together multiple inputs
* Own consolidated reporting and ensure outputs are accurate and commercially useful
* Deliver clear variance analysis and month-end commentary
* Support the month-end FP&A process, including early view reporting
* Take ownership of cash flow forecasting as part of the wider planning cycle
* Work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather, challenge, and refine assumptions
* Translate financial information into clear, useful insight for non-finance colleagues
* Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior leadership
* Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning, and existing processes
* Manage one direct report and support their development
YOUR PROFILE
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
* Effective communicator – written & verbal
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Previous FP&A experience in a commercially focused role
* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and presenting performance clearly
