JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Head of Business is to:
è Effectively manage the resources within the business to achieve the required objectives, including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
è Develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching with managers and employees of the business.
è Understanding of manufacturer mystery shopping criteria and ability to apply this knowledge.
è Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the requirements of the brand. Achieve balanced scorecard requirements.
è Provide clear leadership by ensuring the vision and objectives for the business are understood and communicated by the staff.
è Recruit department managers in line with organisational requirements.
è Agree objectives and work standard with department managers and review their performance on a regular basis.
è Develop and monitor the business plan for all sales areas with senior managers and the manufacturer in order to meet business objectives, profit margins and market penetration.Liaise on a regular basis with manufacturer representatives and company senior managers to review key performance indicators of the business.
è Ensure the business adheres to current UK legislation and that manufacturer operating standards, policies, procedures and financial controls are regularly reviewed in order to maximise business performance.
è Formulate and agree marketing activities and budgets for the business in order to create and maintain brand awareness.
è Ensure that all staff are aware of Health and Safety requirements and regularly review with departmental managers in order to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
