You will be responsible for:
* Interacting confidently with external contractors to coordinate repairs.
* Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure quality service.
* Maintaining high energy levels and efficiency while juggling tasks.
* Assisting management to keep stores operational by maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Minimizing customer disruption during repairs.
Your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring Tesco sites are safe and functional for customers and staff.
* Following work schedules to achieve first-time fixes and improve efficiency.
* Sharing best practices with team members.
* Performing general store and property maintenance.
* Using mobile devices for work updates and communication.
* Representing Tesco's core values with a positive attitude and pride in your work.
* Participating in meetings and providing feedback.
* Supporting an inclusive culture.
You will need:
* Experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments.
* Digital confidence in using tablets and managing emails.
* Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or relevant trade experience.
* Basic diagnostics skills and electrical safety knowledge.
* Full driving license.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Office 365 knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Level 3 – Electrical or equivalent.
* Experience with EICR remedial works.
Preferable Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Inspection & Testing.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition.
* MEWP/IPAF Licence.
