What's involved with this role: Job Title: Complaint Investigators Reference: 000A 11B8 / 1 Salary: £17.42 per hour PAYE Hours: 35 hours Role length: 1 month Job type: Hybrid Location: Pitsea Contract Type: Temporary The role: We are seeking a Complaint Investigator to join our Contact Centre and Complaints team. This role is responsible for managing and resolving resident complaints in a timely and fair manner, ensuring full compliance with the 2024 Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code. You will play a key part in strengthening our complaint handling culture and maintaining trust with residents. Key Responsibilities: Investigate complaints thoroughly, gathering all relevant information and evidence Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to aid resolution Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements including the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code Accurately record all interactions on the CRM system Provide feedback to inform service improvements and help reduce complaint volumes What the client is looking for: Experience in complaints, customer service or contact centre roles Background in social housing or public sector services is desirable Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Highly organised with excellent time management Familiar with CRM systems and digital communication platforms Clear understanding of the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code Resilient, adaptable, and focused on delivering excellent service Experience with contact centre software such as Genesys Proven ability to manage complex or escalated issues effectively How to Apply: Submit your CV and cover letter If you do not hear from us within three working days, unfortunately your application has not been shortlisted on this occasion.
