Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity:
The Head of Integration is a high-impact leadership role at the centre of two of the Bank’s most critical strategic priorities: sale readiness and inorganic growth through M&A. Acting as a key coordination point across the organisation, this role ensures the Bank is fully prepared for a potential sale by driving delivery of the agreed business case, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and overseeing the development of high-quality due diligence materials for external stakeholders.
In parallel, the role leads the successful integration of acquisitions, shaping and executing post-deal integration plans that realise synergies, manage risk, and deliver against strategic objectives. This is a pivotal position for a commercially minded leader who thrives in complex, transaction-driven environments and can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to enterprise-wide initiatives.
What will your day look like?
* Lead end-to-end sale readiness, coordinating cross-functional delivery of the business case and tracking progress against value creation, efficiency, and risk objectives.
* Oversee sell-side due diligence, including planning, governance, high-quality materials, and centralised Q&A management.
* Provide financial and operational oversight, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and clear articulation of performance, cost structures, and operating model.
* Drive post-acquisition integration, delivering synergy targets, managing risks, and coordinating enterprise-wide integration activity.
* Ensure strong risk, regulatory, and control alignment, supporting governance processes and external regulatory engagement.
* Establish robust frameworks, governance, and stakeholder reporting, while managing senior stakeholders and external advisors.
What do we expect from you?
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or strong finance background.
* Experience in integration, M&A, finance change, or large-scale transformation programmes.
* Strong technical expertise in financial control, including ledgers, reconciliations, and cost allocation.
* Understanding of credit risk frameworks and banking portfolio integration.
