Position Overview: A well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy with offices in Cheltenham and Cirencester is seeking a Heritage and Archaeology Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its team. Specializing in a range of sectors, including heritage and archaeology, the company is known for its collaborative approach, integrating various disciplines to provide comprehensive solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects across the heritage and archaeology sectors, collaborating with different departments within the business.
- Manage and execute projects, utilizing strong technical reporting and fieldwork skills.
- Build client relationships and identify opportunities to win new work.
- Mentor junior team members and take on greater project management responsibilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in a consultancy environment within heritage and archaeology.
- Strong technical reporting and fieldwork skills.
- Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and win new work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant degree in archaeology, heritage management, or a related field.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIfA) is desirable.
