Experienced SEN Teacher - St Helens

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate, experienced SEN Teacher committed to providing inclusive education for children with additional needs?
A caring and forward-thinking SEN provision in St Helens is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
Delivering creative, engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
Teaching small classes or working with pupils on a 1:1 basis depending on need
Creating a nurturing, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Leading on assessment and progress tracking for pupils with a wide range of learning abilities
Working closely with TAs, SENCO, therapists and parents to ensure holistic support
Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development as well as academic progress
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Proven experience teaching children with SEN, ideally in a specialist or mainstream setting
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and behaviour management
Patience, resilience and a nurturing approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
