Position
The Scientific Account Executive (SAE) will join our team of PhD scientists in a unique hybrid role encompassing both medical writing and client‑facing project management. The SAE will develop scientifically accurate scripts with story flows that meet client briefs and guide viewers on an immersive journey. The role drives scientific content for animation, print, and interactive projects (VR, AR, MR) across a wide range of therapeutic areas, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of scientific accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Write, fact‑check, and reference scripts
* Collaborate with the in‑house production team to develop accurate and visually compelling content
* Liaise directly with clients to obtain briefs, feedback, and provide updates on project progress
* Maintain good client relationships
* Drive projects through Med‑Legal Review via platforms such as Veeva
* Ensure project deadlines are met and generate feasible timelines
* Keep the project co‑ordination team and line manager updated with progress
Requirements
* PhD in an area of molecular biology
* Exceptional attention to detail and scientific accuracy
* Excellent medical writing and referencing skills
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Working Location
During the initial 3‑month probation period, you will be expected to work from our Marylebone office 5 days a week. After probation, you will be eligible to work 2 days per week from home, varying each week according to our hybrid working rota. Requests for changes to this pattern will be considered fairly.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 (35 hours per week plus one‑hour unpaid lunch break). Unless otherwise specified, these will be the contracted hours for the role.
