Offer description

About The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are people with their own stories, and joining us gives you a chance to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help create personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will ensure high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks may include demonstrating how to use mobility aids, assisting with end-of-life care, or communicating with families, always with kindness.
Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and maintain accurate records. A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent is preferred, with a willingness to pursue Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge is desirable. Your positive energy, ability to manage time, and considerate communication are essential.
About HC-One
At HC-One, kindness is more than a word; it's a core value. We believe caring means supporting what matters most to residents so they can lead their best lives. Our team embodies five qualities: curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and reliability, which we support and foster daily.
We promote inclusivity and value diversity, which helps us serve our communities better. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you must recognize signs of abuse or neglect and know how to report concerns. Training will be provided to support this.
We offer comprehensive training and a range of benefits, including paid DBS, uniform, nutritious meals during shifts, pension, holiday entitlement, life assurance, financial wellbeing tools, learning opportunities, GP online services, discounts, wellbeing support, recognition schemes, and a refer-a-friend scheme.
We are committed to an inclusive workforce that reflects our communities and support all applicants from diverse backgrounds. We aim for a swift onboarding process once you accept an offer.
