We are recruiting an interesting and varied Accounts Assistant (AAT level) opportunity for a small but growing accountancy Practice in the Dunfermline / Rosyth area.
Experience of working for a UK Accountancy Practice (current or past) is essential.
We are looking for someone with an appropriate background - not a qualified accountant. The team has this skillset already. This will suit someone with AAT 2 or 3 plus Practice experience.
This is an office-based role. Preference will be given to local applicants who live within reasonable travel distance.
As part of the team, you ll support a qualified Accountant and Partner on a variety of client accounts.
To be considered, you will need 3 or 4 years + experience of
* Data processing / input and verification of data
* Sales and purchase ledgers
* Invoice, cash and bank reconciliations
* Assisting with the preparation of P&Ls
* Assisting with the preparation of payroll runs
* Making enquiries with HMRC
* Ad hoc reporting
* Excel spreadsheets
* Use of Xero
Salary c£28 - 35,000, generous pension contributions, and potential personal bonus, free parking
