Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - InfrastructureLocation: West Yorkshire
About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a scheme in West Yorkshire.This is a permanent opportunity within a high-profile project environment, offering excellent exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects.You will be responsible for supporting the commercial administration, reporting, and performance of the project while working closely with operational and engineering teams.Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - ResponsibilitiesContribute to maintaining a safe working environmentPrepare and negotiate subcontract documentation, including terms, pricing, and schedulesManage subcontract packages, including interim valuations and change controlIssue contractual notices to clients and subcontractors as requiredManage contract changes, including Compensation Events and monthly applicationsCollaborate with operational and engineering teams to maintain accurate site recordsProduce monthly commercial reports, Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), and cost plansAttend progress, commercial, and risk reduction meetingsSupport estimating and bid teams with contractual and commercial inputQuantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - RequirementsStrong understanding of standard forms of contract (NEC preferred)Strong experience in change management (essential)Experience within construction or infrastructure commercial environmentsStrong IT skills including Excel, Word, and commercial systems (e.g. CEMAR, Oracle)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong commercial awareness and understanding of construction processesEffective time management and organisational skillsDegree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related disciplineProfessional membership (MCIOB / MRICS) desirable or working towardsValid CSCS cardWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)Company car or car allowanceBonus and benefits packageExcellent career development opportunities within a major contractorApply NowIf you are a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a permanent opportunity in West Yorkshire, apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.
