Position Summary
We are seeking a Travel Experience Counselor I responsible for executing travel arrangements within CWT and client guidelines, ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
1. Create domestic reservations including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation.
2. Develop international itineraries to major international destinations.
3. Advise clients on international travel requirements such as visas, passports, and immunizations.
4. Support one or more client accounts.
5. Resolve typical travel-related issues consistently.
6. Operate within detailed procedures with minimal supervision.
7. Interact with travelers or travel arrangers, providing first-level support for customer service and technical issues.
8. Utilize CWT preferred vendors to maximize profit and ensure compliance with travel policies, using available resources including online tools.
9. Deliver customer service adhering to CWT standards, including etiquette and escalation procedures.
10. Follow company procedures for building Passenger Name Records, using tools, maintaining productivity, accuracy, and attendance.
11. Attend staff and training meetings for updates on the travel industry and procedures.
12. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues to promote a cooperative work environment.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
* Customer Service or Call Center experience, or equivalent travel counselor experience.
* Knowledge of reservation systems and industry standards; Sabre experience preferred (training provided).
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Ability to meet and maintain performance standards.
* Combination of education and experience may be considered.
