Alba Dewatering Services Ltd. is recruiting a Mechanical Workshop Manager with experience of pump fitting/plant fitting to help provide support for our civil engineering projects.

Our services encompass all aspects of a project's needs from consultation, design and installation to training, analysis, monitoring, maintenance and project management for a wide range of challenges and in wide variety of sectors. Based in South Derbyshire, we take advantage of being positioned within the Midlands and have quick access to all major motorways, which allows us to service the entirety of the UK market.

As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Workshop manager/mobile plant fitter to join the team. As part of this role, you should be confident in being able to fulfil the below criteria:
· Running a busy workshop, managing a team of fitters, ordering stock, sorting workloads, breakdowns etc etc.
· Inspection and auditing of equipment
· Maintenance of a variety of construction/dewatering machinery, including pumps, and to replace components where needed.
· Familiarity with diagnostic software, and an ability to diagnose faults with confidence
· To be able to complete accurate timesheets in a punctual manner
· Flexibility to work away from home, night shifts and weekend shifts as and when required.
· Pass randomly administered drug tests
· To be able to work as part of a team as well as alone unaided
Experience and Certifications
As part of this role, we also offer the following benefits:
· Pay starts at £18.50 p/hr £38K and goes up depending on experience upto £45k
· All PPE is supplied as standard and in line with government regulations.
· Successful applicants will be on the books for 40hrs a week minimum, with an additional holiday and sick pay allowance.
· A company van and fuel card is supplied after 6 weeks of employment, alongside a company iPhone after 6 months.
· Time and a half is offered after 8 hours of work and on Saturdays. Double time is offered on Sundays.
· A £25 ‘night out’ allowance tax free, with all accommodation paid for where applicable.
