We are now seeking a Workshop Controller to join our Aftersales team in Newry. Location:Vacancy in Newry Hours of Work:Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm ? Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm ? Every third Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm The Role This is a key role within the Aftersales department, responsible for controlling the workflow of the workshop, maximising technician productivity, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day duties: Manage and control the daily workflow of the workshop Allocate jobs effectively to maximise technician efficiency and productivity in line with monthly targets and hold reviews to give regular feedback to improve individual performance. Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure smooth operations. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other technical apparatus Ensure work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timeframes Assist with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance as required Support team members with technical guidance on schematics, assembly, or mechanical issues Ensure work environment is maintained to the highest standards and promote a positive work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction About You: A minimum of Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 qualification Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician within a franchised dealership Strong organisational and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment A team player with a focus on efficiency, quality & customer service A full clean UK driving licence.
