Director level role for national architectural practice - London
I’m currently working with a nationwide, Architectural practice looking for a Director level candidate to join their London office.
This commercial practice recently celebrated 60 years of business and continues to prosper into it’s 70th.
Their London offices are now looking for an established Director or Associate Director to join its senior management team and take on a commercial role within the business.
This will suit a candidate with a ‘hands-on’ approach interested in managing and driving the London office forward along with their fellow directors.
* Management of day-to-day company obligations and activities
* Management of projects from start to completion ensuring timely and effective delivery of the solution into production.
* Actively lead complex designs and be a key anchor on the design of projects
* Help direct company finances, accountable for technical
* performance, quality and budget control on all projects.
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development
* Be confident, with aprofessional attitude and have strong verbal and written communication skills
* Act as the Leader of the broader Platform architecture community to define and execute architecture process and governance ensuring all solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards/principles
* Mentor colleagues and foster a learning and growth environment
* Develop and implement marketing strategies
Required Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture with 10 years of experience in business process design and/or improvement based on industry standards
* Experience in developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology
* Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to apply business requirements to IT solutions
* Leadership and interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
* Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
* Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills
* Expert understanding of new age IT / Digital concepts
* Strong commercial & financial acumen to estimate work effort with supporting data
* Technical Knowledge or awareness of digital/mobile/web applications development
* Expertise in project management, budget forecast and cost & financial analysis
* Strong time-management skills, disciplined, well-organised and self-motivated
* Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills across functions, geographies & cultures
Essential Requirements
* Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic awareness and understanding of current UK Planning and Building Regulation procedures
* Fluency in AutoCAD and Revit, InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite ideally
* RIBA and ARB registered
