The business offers a collaborative working culture with exposure toplex supply chain operations and the opportunity to work alongside experienced finance professionals.This role sits within a high‑performing European supply chain finance team supporting operational decision-making across multiple functions including transport, operations and inventory management.
Your new role
As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you will be working on a 12-month FTC with the potential for a permanent role at the end of the contract. You will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, forecasting and analysis for the European supply chain function. You’ll work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong cost control and meaningful insight into performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Producing weekly and monthly management reports and key performance indicators
2. Supporting the monthly close process, including accruals and variance analysis
3. Performing working capital and inventory analysis
4. Partnering with accounting teams to ensure consistent processes and accurate treatment of financial data across Europe
5. Supporting annual planning activities through departmental analysis and reporting
6. Contributing to productivity and process improvement initiatives, including benefits tracking
7. Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting and improve efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
8. At least 2 years’ experience in a financial analysis or management accounting role
9. Experience preparing and analysing management information
10. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
11. A solid understanding of accruals, forecasting and cost analysis
12. The ability to work independently while also collaborating across teams
13. High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the confidence to challenge anomalies
14. A degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
15. Part‑qualified accountant status (or studying towards a recognised qualification) would be advantageous
