We are seeking an experienced Triage Worker to support individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Job Title: Triage worker
Location: Brent, London
Contract Role
Day: Monday to Friday [ with flexibility of working from home on someday]
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct triage and eligibility assessments
* Act as the first point of contact for service users
* Assess needs and identify suitable support pathways
* Gather and verify supporting documents and information
* Manage referrals and maintain accurate case records
* Liaise with local authorities, housing providers, and partner agencies
* Signpost clients to relevant housing, welfare, and support services
* Support safeguarding and tenancy sustainment outcomes
Requirements:
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals
* Strong communication and assessment skills
* Background in housing, homelessness, support work, welfare, or customer service preferred
* Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently
