Asbestos Surveyor – Newcastle
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Location: Newcastle, North East (covering surrounding areas)
Golden Fox Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading UK environmental risk management consultancy to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, highly respected company that values technical excellence, safety and professional development. The chosen Asbestos Surveyor will be working on commercial and Industrial sites only!
The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will:
* Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264
* Take samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and produce accurate, detailed survey reports
* Provide professional advice to clients on asbestos management
* Ensure all work meets UKAS accreditation standards and current legislation
* Maintain all equipment and PPE to the highest standards
About You
We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor with:
* BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
* Proven asbestos surveying experience
* Strong working knowledge of HSG264 and related regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* A full UK driving licence
