All about the role: To support the school as part of our reception team, welcoming visitors, pupils and staff whilst providing administrative support throughout the school. Being an ambassador for the school, embodying the values, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions. Main responsibilities: Providing a reception service for parents, pupils and staff. Writing, proof reading and editing school letters as required. Sending school out all school communication via appropriate platform. Typing correspondence and documents as directed. Issuing visitors with correct passes ensuring that safeguarding policy is adhered to. Answering incoming telephone calls, redirecting or taking messages as necessary. Administering first aid and complete the accident book/accident forms, to call an ambulance if required, to attend to pupils who are unwell and telephone their parents as necessary. Assisting with fire and emergency procedures. Managing confiscated items. Assisting with filing, photocopying and scanning documents.
