A leading design and engineering organisation is looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their team onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical drawing experience who enjoys working on varied, bespoke structural projects.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in producing detailed construction and fabrication drawings, supporting the delivery of staging, seating, grandstands, and other temporary or bespoke structures. Working closely with design leads, project managers, and client technical teams, you will help ensure that all structures are accurately detailed, compliant, and ready for fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce high-quality 2D construction and fabrication drawings
2. Create accurate bills of materials
3. Select appropriate materials based on structural specifications
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external client engineers
5. Develop and refine design concepts using CAD software
