Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supported Employment Advisor to join a dedicated team focused on helping local residents overcome barriers and move into sustainable employment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting vulnerable individuals, including those with disabilities, mental health conditions, and long-term health issues, to achieve meaningful work outcomes and improved wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of clients with multiple and complex barriers to employment.
* Deliver holistic, strength-based assessments in line with Individual Placement Support (IPS) and/or Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) principles.
* Provide high-quality, personalised employment support including career advice, CV preparation, job applications, and interview coaching.
* Facilitate group sessions such as employability workshops, work clubs, peer support groups, and employer information sessions.
* Build strong partnerships with health professionals, employers, and partner agencies to achieve positive employment outcomes.
* Support clients with wider needs such as money management, childcare, and housing support through effective signposting and information sharing.
* Record progress, monitor outcomes, and contribute data for evaluation and performance reports.
* Achieve individual and team performance targets in line with external funding requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering supported employment or employability support to vulnerable individuals.
* Strong understanding of IPS and/or SEQF principles.
* Demonstrable employer engagement experience.
* Excellent communication, motivational, and coaching skills.
* Ability to manage caseloads effectively and achieve performance outcomes.
* Knowledge of welfare benefits, local employment initiatives, and in-work support.
* Confident in delivering both one-to-one and group-based interventions.
