Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a small, Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in Formby. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years specialist or flexible primary teacher who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education.

The Role:
5. Lead learning within the EYFS, delivering high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
6. Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support all areas of learning.
7. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
8. Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, using assessments to inform planning.
9. Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and senior leaders to support each child’s development.
The Ideal Candidate:
10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
11. Experience teaching in EYFS is desirable, though strong NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply.
12. Sound knowledge of early years pedagogy, assessment, and child development.
13. A nurturing, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
14. Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide employment references covering the last 5 years.
