The Role
As Operations Manager, you'll take full site responsibility for leading production, supply chain, warehouse, and facilities teams - ensuring the Weymouth operation runs efficiently, safely, and profitably. You'll report directly to the General Manager (EMEA & APAC) and have overall accountability for delivering business targets, managing budgets, and promoting a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong communication, decision-making, and people management skills. You'll be the go-to person for site operations and play a key role in strategic planning and performance delivery.
Key Requirements
* Proven track record in an Operations management including Production, Supply Chain and logistics within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
* Strong understanding of quality, safety, and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
* On-site presence required in Weymouth, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-1pm, with flexibility as site lead.
The Package
* Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum
* Bonus Scheme: Annual performance-related bonus
