Job Description
* Coordinate and plan procurement activities to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
* Engage in effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to meet supply demands.
* Analyse supply chain data to identify potential improvements.
* Implement strategies to optimise inventory control and reduce waste.
* Respond to any supply chain issues promptly and efficiently.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
* Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure company-wide understanding of supply chain processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Planner should have:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
* Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in supply chain software systems.
