Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in secondary education? We are recruiting skilled and enthusiastic TAs to support a variety of secondary schools across Surrey this September.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students aged 11–16 (and post-16 in some schools), working closely with teaching staff to:
Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support
Assist pupils with SEND, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Help with lesson preparation and classroom management
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working in secondary school settings
Are confident supporting students with varying needs
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Are proactive, patient, and flexible
Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA Certificate or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
Have an up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
