JOB ROLE – TO SUPPORT MY SON WHO HAS AUTISM 4 HOURS PER WEEK PLUS ADDITIONAL 8 HOURS IN THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS LEEDS 16 CAR OWNER ESSENTIAL WEEKENDS
5.6 weeks annual leave pro-rata. A DBS check will be completed prior to starting the role and two references taken up.
He is requiring a support worker to build his confidence and independence in the home and community. He is a kind and loving child and needs clear boundaries and consistency.
His communication skills are limited, and you will need to encourage him to speak.
He is very active and enjoys singing, water play, football and reading amongst other things.
The ideal candidate will be patient and understand the need for confidentiality. They will be patient and understand the way a child with autism presents and have some knowledge of this condition. Training will be offered.
