Description
This position plays a key role in producing the Group's annual financial statements, overseeing statutory disclosures, and managing the end-to-end group consolidation process. It is responsible for coordinating and driving the external audit of the Group's accounts, maintaining a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate auditor needs and ensuring thorough preparation so that sign-off is achieved without delay. The role also takes ownership of all accounting aspects related to acquisitions—including purchase accounting, fair value assessments, and integrating newly acquired entities into the Group's statutory reporting. Additionally, this position acts as a subject matter expert on technical accounting matters, supporting the wider Finance team and leading the implementation of new financial reporting standards as they arise.
Profile
* Educated to Degree Level
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
* Ideally a first-time mover from a practice background or someone trained in industry with strong technical skills
